Qualifying Rules
Teams must participate in sanctioned qualifying tournaments to be eligible for the Australian National Games. Points earned in these tournaments will determine qualification.
Entry Regulations
- 1. Each team must register by the specified deadline, providing complete roster details and any required fees. Late entries may not be accepted.
- 2. All participants must meet age requirements as specified in the event guidelines.
- 3. Teams must submit a roster that includes player names, ages, and contact information.
- 4. Changes to team rosters will be permitted only before the registration deadline and must be submitted for approval.
- 5. Each player must provide proof of eligibility, such as identification or age verification documents.
- 6. Team fees must be paid in full before participation; failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Format
Matches will follow a structured format, including round-robin play followed by knockout rounds. The format may be adjusted based on the total number of teams entered.
Each match will have a designated start time, and teams are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior for warm-up.
In the event of rain or inclement weather, matches may be rescheduled or modified as needed, with the final decision resting with the tournament officials.
All matches will be governed by the latest cricket rules, including those set forth by Cricket Australia.
Tie-breaker rules will apply in the event of a draw during the round-robin stage, potentially including run rate or head-to-head results.
Final placements will be determined based on points accrued during the tournament, with bonus points awarded for exceptional sportsmanship and fair play.
